Soulless Night

You know… when it comes to a spiritual abuse, we Christians seem to be sadly pretty good at that. It seems to be way too common inside and outside the churches.
I don’t tell these lyrics lightly in this song. I have seen, heard and felt the abuse myself. It isn’t about following Jesus. It’s about control. It always has been across the time in churches. Some churches do this more than the others. Thankfully some of them are really following Jesus in loving and kind way, just the way the Lord intended it to be.
I know ONLY ONE FREAKING CHURCH that has been loving to its attendants and it's one of the smallest ones out there. If someone felt bullied or looked down on, leaders took it seriously and helped to have a mutual understanding between the participants.
It seems to be, that bigger and more powerful churches have leaders of neglect. I have seen how many of my friends and my wife, have been discriminated by the leaders and the attendants alike by being poor, not that charismatic, different as a human, not much of a talker, question things that aren't well explained or showed, show emotions that aren’t joy, be good at something and they get jealous, say something they don’t want to hear (the truth), not talk in languages and of course the worst of all… being a human being, gasp.
They want you to follow and work for the church and not for Jesus. If it would be other way around, we wouldn’t have this kind of problem. They justify their wrongdoing in His name.
“Of course I molested you, because you had evil within you!” or
“Oh sorry, if I said something stupid to you and almost made your life worse and kill yourself. Must be the devil.” or
“Are you poor and depressed? Must be the God punishing you!” or
“Jesus said you must work for us!” or
“You must work, work, work for the church and not show any other emotion than joy, so Jesus keeps you at His good guy list.”
Or maybe the common thing to say: “God told me, you are the love of my life!” Sadly I’m not even over exaggerating in these things. Some of these sentences are pretty much code syphered, so you could understand better what I mean. These are the people, who work for the big man Himself. Talking about wolves in a sheep’s disguise… we humans are evil.
Sadly we have been manipulated by satan for many many hundreds of years and now look at the results. Satan’s manipulation have destroyed so many things, that could have been good. Churches were supposed to be a safe place to get to know Jesus better. They were supposed to be a safe place to talk, pray and learn together in harmony. If someone questions something in the Bible or in your speech, aren’t we supposed to talk more about it? Have a mutual understanding? You know, LIKE JESUS INTENDED? No… money is often more important to the leaders.
If something, like molesting, happens in a church and leaders know about it, some don’t do anything about it, because it would ruin their church’s reputation. They just cover it and carry on like nothing happened. All of this leads to victim losing his or her faith or getting to self-destructiveness. Thankfully, some places are better than others and even though there’s no perfect church, I believe it could be possible for us to grow in harmony.
Song’s name “soulless night” means many things. One of them is how corrupted church has taken your soul and night’s feel more scary, because you don’t have the foundation in you. Yourself. And Jesus feels more distant than never before, even though He’s right there by your side.
This needs to stop. Too many innocent people suffer, because of these spawn of a demons. Too many people are led to astray, even to the point, they lose their faith or live in lies. Thankfully, Jesus always wins and takes His children with Him way or another. These wolves will get what they deserve in their soulless night.
