Hi there!
This time the writer is Deracol's sidekick, his partner, his wife. Nice to meet you and get my words out to you! I'll be telling the thoughts on this one. This song was decided to be part of the album quite a long time ago, actually. Still, it was finished almost as the last one!
Every song is a journey and so was this. The ground idea in this one was the fact that he is loved - even though he wouldn't believe or it would be hard to accept. He is loved by many people and most importantly, by God. So that's what the lyrics reflect.
I have to point out, that he made the music and I made the lyrics and sang them. We both knew the topic and talked about source of inspiration for this one, but we didn't tell each other all we were going to do. So some things were surprises for both of us and it made this golden.
The inspiration sparked from one specific moment in his life and the song turned out to be something multilayered and something that holds so much, so many different point's of views and meanings.
The starting point was the idea, that even when Deracol wasn't a Christian and he didn't know, God still loved him. And he would still get to the point he is now in. And he would have a future. And so much more goondess in it. All the pain, anger, fear, pressure, it would all be turned for something good. It's happening all the time. Through his experiences he can be there for others - also one purpose of this album - and he can relate to alot. I'm one of those people and that's why my love will also shine to him, for who he is and who he is to me.
That's also one point in the song. He waited and hoped for love and even though he didn't know it would some day come to him, it happened. And all the time God knew it.
All this time God has seen, called and loved him and all this time he has been loved and worthy of love, even though some people haven't been able to show him that.
He made a song for me and you better believe I wanted to do this for him! (Yes, I talk to you, beibs, too.)
So, case closed. Enjoy the album!
